Scott Beyer is the founder and owner of Market Urbanist. He is an investor, consultant and journalist dedicated to advancing free-market ideas in cities. His affiliations include as a fellow at the Independent Institute and an advisor to Tipolis.

Ethan Finlan, content manager

Ethan Finlan writes and manages much of the content for Market Urbanist. He’s written for various magazines on transportation and how it interacts with land use and housing debates. Originally from San Diego, he is now based in metro Boston.

Pooja Kushwaha, design manager

Pooja Kushwaha is responsible for Market Urbanist's branding. A graphic designer for 5 years, she specializes in visual communications such as branding, marketing materials, packaging design, websites, and magazine layouts. She is from Chennai, India.

Ansif, tech manager

Ansif provides web development and other tech support for Market Urbanist. He has overseen dozens of projects and created multiple templates on WordPress and Webflow. He lives in Coimbatore, India.

Angela Boccanegra, research assistant

Angela Boccanegra is a research assistant for Market Urbanist, providing intel on real estate, planning policy and more. She works in computer engineering, focusing on technology that leverages AI and immersive experiences. She lives in Bogota, Colombia.

Njara Randriakoto, research assistant

Njara Randriakoto is a Market Urbanist personal and research assistant, handling everything from travel logistics to client acquisition. Based in Antananarivo, Madagascar, he is a Civil Engineer from the University of Reunion Island.

Cesare Adeniyi-Martins, research assistant

Cesare Adeniyi-Martins is a Market Urbanist researcher, specializing in the startup city space. He is the Dan Lavoie fellow at Mercatus Center at George Mason University, and founder of a research firm called Abelar Africa. He lives in Lagos, Nigeria.

Scott Beyer owns and manages Market Urbanism Report. He is an urban affairs journalist who writes regular columns for the Independent Institute, Governing Magazine, HousingOnline.com, and other publications, and regularly does interviews across the media landscape. Originally from Charlottesville, VA, he is based in New York City.
